Are you a recently qualified CA(SA) with a strong interest in corporate finance, transactions, and financial modelling?

A well-established advisory firm based in Rosebank, Johannesburg is seeking a Corporate Finance Executive to join its corporate finance practice. This role offers exposure across Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Raising, Due Diligence, Valuations, and Financial Modelling, working closely with senior professionals and clients.

Financial modelling underpins all workstreams in this role, and candidates must demonstrate strong modelling capability as part of the assessment process.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Finance & Deal Execution

• Perform financial analysis across strategic and transaction-based projects.

• Build, review, and maintain complex financial models.

• Support deal execution and project management across multiple engagements.

• Assist with M&A, capital raising, valuation, and due diligence processes.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

• Work closely with internal team members across projects.

• Support relationship-building with clients and stakeholders.

• Contribute to high-quality client deliverables and presentations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualification & Experience:

• CA (SA) qualification (essential)

• 1–5 years’ post-articles experience

• Prior exposure to corporate finance or transaction advisory

• Strong financial modelling experience/Note this on CV! (essential)

Technical & Professional Skills:

• Solid understanding of corporate finance principles

• Strong IFRS knowledge

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail

• Professional, ethical, and commercially minded

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Note: A financial modelling case study will form part of the assessment process.
