Chief People Officer | Johannesburg (Hybrid)
Hire Resolve is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief People Officer (CPO) to provide executive leadership for the Human Resources function of a prominent healthcare group. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for aligning people strategies with long-term organizational objectives while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and legal parameters.
Key Strategic Responsibilities:
Executive Leadership: Serve as a key member of the EXCO, articulating HR needs and strategic plans to the Board of Directors and executive management.
HR Strategy & Oversight: Provide direction across all HR sub-functions, including Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, and Manpower Planning.
Organizational Development: Anticipate and plan for long-term human resource trends, ensuring the group remains an employer of choice within the private healthcare sector.
Governance & Compliance: Maintain oversight of compensation, benefits, equal opportunity, and diversity programs in line with industry regulations.
Financial Accountability: Manage the HR budget and drive people-centric initiatives that positively impact high-level financial indicators.
Requirements:
Education: A relevant Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management or executive position.
Sector Expertise: Proven experience within Private Healthcare Operations is highly advantageous.
Leadership Track Record: Demonstrable ability to lead multi-disciplinary HR teams and provide comprehensive solutions in complex organizational structures.
Competencies: Exceptional strategic thinking, critical judgment, and the ability to navigate high-pressure executive environments.
