Administrative Assistant | Somerset West
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join a premier Wealth Management firm in Somerset West. This is a permanent, onsite role providing vital support to a Financial Planner specializing in investment management and group scheme benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Administration: Collate and prepare all documentation for investment instructions, payments, and client accounting. Capture and track instructions on internal systems to completion.
Client Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, and third-party providers. Attend to and resolve queries with a high level of professionalism.
Compliance & Record Keeping: Manage electronic and hard copy filing in strict accordance with FAIS and FICA regulations. Ensure all investment and payment instructions are fully compliant.
Advisory Support: Prepare meeting materials, reports, and follow-up correspondence for Financial and Investment Advisors.
Office Coordination: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and ensure the smooth day-to-day administrative operation of the advisory team.
Exact Requirements for Applicants:
Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a Broker’s Assistant or Secretary, specifically handling investment administration and follow-ups.
Industry Knowledge: High level of financial industry knowledge, including a strong understanding of investment products (Unit Trusts, TFSA, Offshore Wrappers, ETFs).
Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
Typing Speed: Minimum typing speed of 50+ wpm.
Education: A relevant tertiary qualification or industry-specific certification will be highly advantageous.
Transport: Must have own reliable transport.
Attributes: Exceptional organizational skills, the ability to work independently under pressure, and the discretion to handle sensitive high-net-worth client information.
Position Details:
Location: Somerset West, Western Cape (100% In-Office).
Remuneration: Base salary with 13th cheque structure.
Leave: 21 days annual leave
